Retirement Accounts
Have you ever heard of self-directed retirement accounts?

Do you know what a self-directed account is?

Did you know you can place non-traditional assets like certain precious metals, real estate, and other items in your IRA?

Do you want to know how to set up a self-directed IRA?

Most people keep their retirement savings in either the stock or bond market or money market/CD funds in a bank.  Most people do not know that they can diversify their investments beyond these traditional choices.

You don't have to be a financial guru to use self-directed accounts to diversify your retirement portfolio for the possibility of greater appreciation or asset growth.

You can read my blog for some basic education about self-directed accounts if you are skeptical.  Be sure to go to the archives on self-directed IRAs to get articles specific to this topic.

If you already have a stockbroker or investment advisor, I want you to keep that relationship.  What I want you to do is to listen to what I have to say, and then make your own decision.

The IRS has placed very few restrictions on what you can have in your IRA.  The existing exclusions are:
Antiques and collectibles, life insurance policies, certain metals, and certain coins.  Anything else that you think has the potential to appreciate over time can be placed into an IRA.

If you are happy with what you are making with your current retirement savings strategy, I wish you well and hope you are sharing your knowledge with others.

But, if you are not happy with how your retirement accounts are doing, please contact me for a brief consultation.  You'll be glad you did.
Individuals who have changed companies can rollover 401(k), 403(b), some pension benefits, and certain other retirement savings accounts to a personal IRA and choose how to allocate their wealth-building strategy with almost no limits.
Individuals and businesses with one of the many varieties of IRAs can also choose how they want to invest for their future.
As many prominent and well-respected financial gurus will tell you; invest in what you know.  I'll review your options with you and let you decide what fits your style, your values, and your goals.
