Debt and Expense Reduction

  • Are you buried in debt and can't see your way out?
  • Have you seen ads on TV and wondered if they might solve your problems?
  • Do you avoid answering the phone for fear it might be a creditor?
  • Is your debt interfering with your health?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you need to take control of your debt.

Many people today find themselves with more debt than they feel comfortable handling.  You are not alone.

Easy credit, offers in the mail, and aggressive advertising have led many individuals and families into situations where they feel overwhelmed by the amount of debt they are carrying.

Others have been hit by unexpected medical expenses, layoffs, and other unusual circumstances.

You may have seen ads on TV for debt counseling, consolidation, or negotiation services.  Or, you may have seen ads for bankruptcy.  Did you know that most of these solutions harm your credit score so that you may have trouble getting credit when you really need it?

If you have serious debt, you may worry that you will never be able to save for retirement and that you will be in this situation forever.

There are many ways to get out of or reduce your debt.

I offer:

  • Counseling for a debt reduction plan you can implement yourself.  This includes an analysis of your current spending habits and a budget we work on together.
  • Counseling and referral to a company that can help you improve your credit score if you've had a few rough spots but are financially solvent with some past derogatory information on your credit profile
  • Counseling, budget planning, and referral to a local company that can pay your bills for you by taking regular electronic fund transfers (eft) from your bank account and pay your bills for you leaving you with the money you need to buy groceries and gasoline and other day-to-day living expenses while you pay down your debt in less time than you imagined.
  • Counseling, budget planning, and referral to a company that can work with you to consolidate debt, pay your bills for you by taking regular electronic fund transfers (eft) from your bank account, pay your creditor bills, and leave you with money to spend on day-to-day living expenses like groceries and gasoline.  This service is only available to homeowners.
  • Counseling, education and referral if I cannot help you, for free.  I'll give you the lowdown on credit counseling services, debt reduction and elimination services, an introduction to bankruptcy, and referral to local resources if your situation does not lend itself to the methods I offer.

All fees are on a sliding scale depending on your situation.

Getting out of debt is never easy, but it is possible.  But in many cases it takes hard work.

If I can't help you, I will advise you of your options and provide you with referrals.

The bottom line is, don't let a company hurt your credit future before talking to me.

My objective is to help you become financially healthy so you can put money away for future needs like retirement, your children's college, etc.
